PRAYER VIGIL: On November 3, we are hosting a Prayer Vigil. We hope this will provide a special opportunity for you to have some “quiet time” with the Lord. Lately, many of us have felt anxious, stressed, and even overwhelmed. We know that we can find peace and comfort when we give these concerns to God, but often, we simply don’t take the time to pray. Contemplate Philippians 4: 6-7: Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NRSV) Let’s unite our hearts and minds as we use this time to thank the Lord for his many blessings and turn our worries into gratitude! Our Sanctuary will be open for you between 9:00am and 5:30pm on November 3. If you are unable to come to the church, we invite you to commit to praying at home, or in the car, or on your lunch hour, or at your desk.
