Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministries Outreach Event

Forsyth Jail and Prison MinistriesOn Sunday evening October 9th the Missions and Outreach team is once again participating in Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry’s worship service at the N Cherry St minimum security prison in Winston. Main Street last participated in a Sunday evening worship service in June. This is an outstanding and moving worship service.

A Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry chaplain will offer the sermon, the prison band will provide some music but we will also lead a few songs. We will provide the opening prayer, read a few selected scriptures, 1 person will provide testimony/witness/ story of God’s work in his/her life (predetermined), snacks/drinks for fellowship time afterwards, The time commitment for the service and refreshments afterwards is from 6:15 – 8 pm, with no more than 20 but at least 10 men and women. We will leave church about 5:15pm.
